W. Patrick McCray's research and teaching interests include science, technology, and the environment after 1945, the intersections of art, technology, and science as well as the histories of computing. He is the author of "README: A Bookish History of Computing from Electronic Brains to Everywhere Machines" and "Making Art Work."
