Transportation & Parking Services would like to update you about the campus impacts related to Commencement ceremonies and celebrations. Traffic and parking will be heavily impacted from Thursday, June 11, through Sunday, June 14. Transportation & Parking Services staff members, as well as the UC Police Department, will be on-site to direct traffic. Please obey all traffic signs and directions from these officials.

The second phase of new student housing reached an important milestone. On May 13, the California Coastal Commission approved the Notice of Impending Development for the East Campus project after the UC Regents approval in November 2025. In partnership with Design & Construction Services, PCL, our Construction Manager-At-Risk (CMAR) and general contractor for the overall project, will oversee the construction of four new residential buildings along UCen Road to deliver 1,688 beds (412 replacement beds and 1,276 new beds) by Fall 2028.

Starting on June 16th, Google Cloud subscriptions can no longer be purchased with a credit card. Existing accounts will remain, but please make a note to use Gateway for any future purchases.

Remember to sign up for Statuspage — it is how Design, Facilities & Safety Services communicates building maintenance events, construction impacts and other service interruptions from Facilities Management and Design & Construction Services.

Campus Catering has updated their menu brochure to be fully accessible on their website, discontinuing the use of the Box pdf brochure. Menus and pricing are the same and have not changed. We look forward to continuing to partner with you all on campus events!

Dine with us and enjoy new seasonal flavors and a fantastic view! We're open to the public for lunch Monday-Friday, 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Reservations recommended.

Please be mindful of the impacts to campus during Open House on April 11. To help with increased traffic and visitors on campus, Transportation & Parking Services will be stationed around campus to help direct visitors.
