UC Santa Barbara is dedicated to continuing to improve communications to our campus community. The University offers multiple opportunities to share information campuswide, depending on the topic.
Campus Updates
Campus Updates (previously known as the DList) will serve as a distribution channel for immediate, non-emergency information or sensitive information. These will be delivered via email to faculty and staff previously subscribed to the DList. Messages must be related to official UC Santa Barbara business and authorized from your senior-level administrator.
Campus Updates Submission Guidelines
Campus Updates are specific to a single topic and distributed as needed. These communications include:
- Important internal information from campus leadership
- Operations that have campuswide impact (i.e., road closures, fire alarm testing)
- Updates with sensitive information for our campus community (i.e, non-emergency safety and security messages, cybersecurity updates, financial updates)
- Policy updates
