Lorraine Lisiecki

Professor, Vice Chair
Earth Science

Lorraine Lisiecki’s research takes a computational approach to interpreting paleoclimate records. She investigates the causes and rates of climate change by synthesizing different data sources. Lisiecki is particularly interested in the evolution of the Miocene-to-Pleistocene climate as it relates to glacial cycles, orbital forcing, abrupt climate change, the carbon cycle, and deep-ocean circulation.
