Research Associate
Earth Research Institute

Jeff Prancevic is a geomorphologist and hydrologist working to understand the processes the shape Earth’s surface. He uses field observations, remote sensing data, and lab experiments to develop theories for how water, sediment, and rock are transported, particularly in mountainous terrain. His work helps assess natural hazards like debris flows and flooding, and provides insight into the functional role of stream networks.
