Career Services has an impressive line-up of events for Fall 2025 and an events calendar! Faculty and staff, please help us get the word out to students by sharing the below information with your students.
Career Services has quite a few special events planned and some very valuable programs in place to help you with your career planning and development. Students may register for all events and workshops via Handshake, the main platform for UCSB students to find part-time and full-time opportunities.
Upcoming events and workshops:
- Prep with a Pro Series. With this series starting on Week 2, prepare for virtual career fairs and fall recruitment by attending these workshops about resume and cover letters and interview strategies! All events are presented by employers from a wide variety of industries and companies.
 - Information Sessions. Starting on October 13, learn about career opportunities and openings available with employers. For a list of upcoming information sessions, both in-person and virtual, check out more details in Handshake.
 - Fall Job + Internship Fair, Wednesday, October 22, 10:00am - 2:00pm. Join us in-person at the Events Center and meet face to face with recruiters from all different industries and talk with them about amazing internship and job opportunities.
 - Graduate + Professional Schools Fair, Wednesday, November 5, 10:00am - 2:00pm. Exploring your options after graduation and looking to advance your degree after UCSB? Stop by the main walkway from Events Center to the bike roundabout to meet in-person with admissions officers from a variety of grad programs and professional schools. Check out Handshake to learn which programs are coming to campus.
 - Student Site Visits. These are a great opportunity for Gaucho students to learn, explore, and connect with employers. This quarter site visits will include Yardi and Cottage Health so check out Handshake.
 
Students may walk-in anytime for Career Advising services Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm in the Career Resource Room (Building 599), no appointment needed. We also offer students online resources toolkits: Focus 2 for career exploration, resumeAI for resume reviews, and Big Interview for interview preparation.
