Traffic impacts in Goleta this summer
Between mid-June and mid-August 2026, the City of Goleta will be upgrading traffic signals throughout Goleta, including intersections near entrances to campus. This project includes traffic signal upgrades, electrical improvements and related roadway work at the intersection noted below.
During Construction
- On street parking restrictions – cars will be towed if parked during the
- posted no parking dates.
- Property access will be maintained.
- Temporary traffic signals and signs may be used during construction.
- Follow all posted signs and plan additional travel time.
- Emergency response vehicles will always have access.
