UCSB Affiliates Elect Stanley Eigner President

Stanley S. Eigner has been elected president of the UCSB Affiliates board of directors.

With over 450 household memberships, the UCSB Affiliates is the largest of UC Santa Barbara's community support groups.

In addition to sponsoring dozens of public outreach programs each year, the UCSB Affiliates annually award approximately $55,000 in scholarships and fellowships to UCSB students.

In addition to his volunteer service with the UCSB Affiliates, Eigner, of Hope Ranch, has been actively involved with the California Coastal Rural Development Corporation, Sansum Medical Research Institute, the Service Corps of Retired Executives, the Anti-Defamation League, and the Santa Barbara Jewish Federation.

Other UCSB Affiliates officers include Marjorie Shipp, of Montecito, vice president; Raymond K. Meyerson, of Santa Barbara, treasurer; and Dr. Joseph Shipp, of Montecito, secretary.
