Capping off a stellar year

The sun came out, and so did the stars.

And by stars we mean the thousands of new UC Santa Barbara graduates who crossed the commencement stage, capping off another academic year. But also: alum-turned-astronaut José Hernández, who spoke at the College of Engineering ceremony, telling his fellow Gauchos, “The sky is not the limit. The sky is just the beginning … Great things can happen as a result of your education from UC Santa Barbara.”

It was just one of many inspiring moments that unfolded over a week’s worth of events to honor and celebrate the Class of 2025 — all recapped on video for your viewing pleasure.
