Single tickets go on sale for 2024-2025 season of UCSB Arts & Lectures

Featuring more than 47 events to choose from, UCSB Arts & Lectures has another  robust performance roster for its upcoming season , with single (non-subscription) ticket sales opening Friday, Aug. 2 at 10 a.m. 

Now in  its 65th year, Arts & Lectures consistently delivers world-class cultural and artistic events, from stimulating lectures and animated conversations with today’s thought leaders to brilliant performances by the world’s most accomplished dancers, singers, musicians and performers. 

The anniversary season is “more than a milestone,” said Miller McCune Executive Director Celesta M. Billeci. “It's a time to reflect on the organization's storied past and celebrate with our friends and supporters. It's also a time to look ahead and imagine what the next 65 years can bring."

Highlights for 2024-2025  include Yo-Yo Ma, Reflections in Words and Music; Wynton Marsalis Ensemble, LOUIS: A Silent Film with Live Musical Performance; London Philharmonic Orchestra; Mavis Staples and The War and Treaty (Double Bill); Itzhak Perlman and Friends; Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre; Larkin Poe; Twyla Tharp Dance (an Arts & Lectures co-commission); a new tap interpretation of The Nutcracker Suite by Dorrance Dance and two programs featuring soprano Julia Bullock.

Special lectures and events will feature Salman Khan, Brave New Words; Yotam Ottolenghi; Dr. Jennifer Doudna; Anne Lamott, Somehow: Thoughts on Love; and Pico Iyer in conversation with Yung Pueblo, Richard Powers and Marina Abramović.
