A celebratory send-off

Four years after many of them missed out on a proper high school graduation ceremony, courtesy of Covid-19, the UC Santa Barbara Class of 2024 got a commencement befitting their achievement. From the gorgeous weather to the gregarious crowds who came to cheer them on, these newly minted alumni were celebrated in every way — and from every corner of campus — by their family and friends, by university faculty and staff, and by the entire Gaucho community.
