The Best Is Yet to Come

They came. They marched. They graduated.

The Class of 2019 was feted in nine commencement ceremonies over eight days in multiple venues across campus. And with a combined 6,867 undergraduate and graduate students set to complete their degrees this calendar year, it was a fine celebration indeed.

The campus’s College of Creative Studies, the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management, the Graduate Division, the College of Engineering and the College of Letters and Science gave a grand sendoff to their latest graduates, and the Surfrider Battalion commissioned 10 ROTC cadets as 2^nd lieutenants in the U.S. Army.

Every gathering shared a common focus: honoring the students for their achievements and wishing them success in their future endeavors.

Job well done, Gauchos. Hail, hail, hail!
