Systemwide Survey on Disability

UC faculty and staff members are asked to complete a brief survey about their disability status

Beginning April 3, all UC employees will receive an e-mail from UC_Disability_Survey@vres.us with a link to the one-question survey. UC has hired VR Election Service (VRED) to administer the survey on its behalf.

The e-mail will also include a unique personal identification number (PIN) that VRES has assigned to each individual to use with the survey. The PIN along with the employee’s birthday (month and day) must be entered to verify identity.

The survey, which allows employees to identify themselves as disabled, is required of federal government contractors as part of recent changes to federal regulations. UC receives billions of dollars in federal contracts and grants annually and is one of the largest government contractors.
