Call for Getman and Villa Award Nominations

Awards recognize extraordinary commitment to the general growth and development of students and to the quality of student life

Nominations are being accepted for the annual Margaret T. Getman and William J. Villa Service to Students Awards. The awards, named for the former dean of students and former director of admissions, respectively, recognize university staff and faculty members and departments that have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to the general growth and development of students and the quality of student life.

The nominees and recipients will be honored with a reception on Thursday, June 5, at the Student Affairs divisional meeting at Corwin Pavilion.

More information about the awards, including nomination forms are available at http://www.sa.ucsb.edu/getman/Home.aspx. Forms must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Monday, April 21.
