The parents, siblings, and grandparents of UC Santa Barbara students will have the opportunity to experience college life during Parents and Family Weekend, November 5-7.
More than 1,700 family members of currently enrolled UCSB students are expected for the weekend event.
Visitors may attend classes with their students, participate in faculty presentations, information sessions, and campus area tours, as well as meet faculty members and administrators.
Chancellor Henry T. Yang and his wife, Dilling, will host a breakfast program in Cheadle Plaza on Saturday, November 6 at 9 a.m.
This year's activities includes a Black Family Weekend, which is designed to enable the families of African American students to form connections with other families and members of the campus community.
Special events include an outreach information fair for students interested in pursuing graduate studies.
