Opening for Staff Representative on Governance Board

The Chancellor's Staff Advisory Council seeks one staff representative to sit on the Student Resource Building Governance Board

The Chancellor's Staff Advisory Council (CSAC) is seeking names of staff members interested in serving on the Student Resource Building (SRB) Governance Board. One staff representative position is currently open.

The SRB Governance Board reports to Michael Young, vice chancellor for student affairs. The board addresses policies regarding the SRB's purpose, image, facilities maintenance and community areas. The board has authority over operations and development of the building in respect to any matters involving policy, and approves the annual SRB Facilities Management Budget.

The term of appointment is two years, and the board meets the first Friday of every month.

Any staff members interested in serving are asked to send a short statement, including their names, current position and any relevant information to Rick Van Hoorn at rick.vanhoorn@essr.ucsb.edu.
